Come visit during the fall and see the Pictured Rocks surrounded
in colorful forests - "peak" weekend varies but often occurs the last week of September or early October.
The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a haven for tourists and wildlife. Endangered birds like the Piping Plover and the Peregrine Falcon reside within the park.
Over 175 species of birds have been documented - Grouse, woodcock, bald eagles, owls, hawks, turkey vultures, osprey, sandhill crane and many more! |

There are fifty nine types of fish found in Lake Superior waters, local inland lakes, and streams.
